Preparatory

Vyasa Vidya Niketan Central School has revised its academic system by the National Education Policy 2020. Starting from the academic year 2023-2024, the school will follow the 5+3+3+4 structure, as per the new policy. Under this structure, children will spend 5 years in the foundational stage, 3 years in the preparatory stage, 3 years in the middle stage, and 4 years in the secondary stage respectively. This change aligns the school's academic system with the latest national policy, providing a seamless transition for students as they progress through their education.

The preparatory stage will cover the school education from grades 3 - 5 with a focus on experimental learning. It will cover the ages of 8- 11. Besides cognitive development, it strengthens character building and creates holistic and well-rounded individuals equipped with key 21st-century skills.

It follows a system where the teachers are integrating experimental learning into the classrooms. It helps to strengthen all of the senses through careful observation, inquisitive discovery, and spontaneous expression, which is a result of art and sports integration.

By assessing, teachers can keep track of all developmental milestones of the students, which includes cognitive, physical/ motor, linguistic, and social-emotional development. At Vyasa Vidya Niketan Central School, the preparatory stage is functioning under the leadership of an experienced headmistress.
